We are very lucky that the team from the Hepatology Department at Hospital Selayang have chosen Penang as their venue for their 3rd Update course in Hepatology. The Selayang Hospital team belongs to the premier liver referral centre in Malaysia and we are grateful that they are so willing to travel to our city to update us on the latest treatment approaches to common liver diseases and we hope that their visit will be able to increase our core knowledge of liver disease and improve the treatment of the patients that we see day to day in our medical practise.

Hence we hope that after this update, the options of treatment of common liver diseases will be clearer and this will lead to better treatment of our patients
